Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Mumbai Yacht Club, we aim to provide a smooth and transparent booking experience. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which cancellations and refunds are processed.

1. Booking Confirmation

  • Your booking is confirmed only after receiving the required advance or full payment.
  • Once confirmed, the booking slot is reserved exclusively for you.

2. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled booking time may be eligible for a partial refund.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the booking time may not be eligible for any refund.
  • No-shows will not be eligible for a refund.

3. Refund Policy

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days.
  • Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.
  • Payment gateway or transaction charges may be deducted from the refund amount.

4. Rescheduling

  • Rescheduling requests are subject to availability.
  • Requests must be made at least 24–48 hours prior to the booking time.
  • Only one reschedule may be allowed per booking.

5. Weather & Operational Conditions

  • In case of unfavorable weather or sea conditions, bookings may be rescheduled.
  • If rescheduling is not possible, a refund or credit may be provided.
  • Decisions made by the captain or management for safety reasons are final.

6. Late Arrival

  • Customers are expected to arrive on time.
  • Late arrivals may result in reduced trip duration without refund.

7. Cancellation by Mumbai Yacht Club

  • We reserve the right to cancel bookings due to technical issues, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances.
  • In such cases, customers will be offered rescheduling or a full refund.

8. Non-Refundable Situations

  • Last-minute cancellations (within 24–48 hours)
  • No-shows
  • Violation of terms or misconduct
